caravaning in the peak district

Caravan Site

This peaceful caravan site is situated in the heart of the Peak District. The beauty of Farditch Farm site is that it is uncrowded with only 11 caravan pitches, surrounded by picturesque landscaping. Suitable for the discerning caravanner, this caravan site is perfect for couples or families wanting a quiet retreat in wonderful surroundings.

The complex effortlessly merges the traditional with contemporary in an unsurpassed setting; offering warmth, charm, space and a certain refined ambience that is truly on a par of its own. Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times.

As you would expect, all the pitches have:

  • Electric
  • Water
  • WiFi
  • Drainage
  • Immaculate shower & toilet facilities
  • Communal kitchen & lounge area
  • Full disabled access
  • Fully equipped disabled shower/WC

Location

The caravan park is ideally located on the edge of the stunning Peak District, in the village of Chelmorton. The park has the benefit of being situated in the Peak District for those who love the countryside but also a short drive to the market town of Bakewell and spa town of Buxton if you need a bit of retail therapy, with numerous independent shops, boutique cafes and pubs to enjoy.

The park is a perfect base for discovering all the numerous nearby walks and has the benefit of a village pub for food and refreshments after a long day’s activity. The location is also excellent for cyclists with many beautiful trails nearby including the Tissington and Monsal cyclepaths.

Just a short drive away, you can visit Chatsworth House, its farm shop and gardens and the prestigious Church Inn is less than a mile away which won the CAMRA’s High Peak Pub of the Year in 2016. For those of you that don’t want to drive, there is also a convenient bus service to the local town within walking distance. This truly is a wonderful holiday location.
