Redhurst is part of a beautiful barn conversion with loads of character; large picture windows, beautiful furnishings, and an open plan living / kitchen / dining space. It has interconnecting doors to Caxterway (sleeps 10) and Pippenwell (sleeps 6) offering flexible accommodation for larger gatherings if required.

The kitchen/dining area is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. It also has a large dining table table, the perfect place to gather if you are sharing your holiday with people in other cottages.

There are plenty of comfortable sofas for relaxing in after a long day’s walk or cycling and the lounge area opens out onto a small private patio. There is also a large patio area to the back of the property, shared with Pippenwell Cottage, and this offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Amenities
Our cottages have well equipped kitchens with ovens, microwaves, dishwashers and fridge-freezers. They also have access to irons and ironing boards. There is a secure bike store on site with facilities to hose down your muddy kit (and yourself) if needed.

Pets
All our cottages are dog friendly but we ask that you don’t leave your pets unaccompanied in the properties. We also have a small secure dog exercise area for four legged guests use. There are lots of routes suitable for dog walking in the area and also many pubs and cafes are dog friendly.

Location
Farditch Farm is on the edge of Chelmorton village which is lucky enough to have its own village pub, The Church Inn, an ideal place to stop for lunch or visit after a long days exploring the Peak District.

The stately home, Chatsworth House is a short drive away and boasts a fantastic art collection, lush gardens, with a fabulous art collection, a playground and farmyard which small children will love.

The pretty market and spa towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock are also a short drive if you fancy some retail therapy and for the bigger children and theme park lovers, Gulliver’s Kingdom is half an hour drive as well.
