Matlock Bath Fireworks

As you enjoy your Autumn stay at Endmoor Farm Holiday Cottages. Take advantage of the many local events.

September sees the return of Matlock Bath Illuminations and fireworks displays. The Illuminations which feature a unique parade of illuminated and decorated boats on the River Derwent.  The parade takes place every weekend throughout September and October.

Watch as each boat carries a decorated model and as darkness falls the boats disappear into the blackness below, leaving the models apparently gliding along just above the water.

The parade of Illuminated boats takes place 8.00pm to 9.00pm every Saturday and Sunday during the season. There is also a lively  programme of entertainment on or near the bandstand in Derwent Gardens each evening.

Entertainment starts at   7.00pm with the last admission at 8.45pm.

Sensational Firework displays

On certain Saturday nights (15th Sept, 29th Sept, 13th Oct, 27th Oct) there are also spectacular firework displays which begin at 9.00pm. The fireworks display in Matlock Bath is renowned as one of the very best in the Peak District.
