This barn conversion is part of a complex of 5 holiday properties, the 3 larger properties have the advantage of interconnecting doors enabling them to be opened to provide spacious open plan accommodation for 22. No expense has been spared to ensure the guests feel welcome and comfortable at all times.  The barn’s layout has been designed in a contemporary style which consists of an open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area.

The kitchen has a high spec finish with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven and dishwasher provided to ensure the guests have everything they need for their stay.  The lounge and dining areas have quality furnishings with an ample sized kitchen table and comfy sofas for relaxing in front of the flat screen TV.

There is a double bedroom and en-suite shower room on the ground floor with a further double bedroom and twin bedroom upstairs, with a shared bathroom.  This flexible accommodation also benefits guests who may have mobility issues.

The holiday cottage has loads of character inside and out and has been decorated to a high standard throughout.  The external space is just as impressive and provides ample parking for multiple cars.  There is a large patio area to the back of the property which is shared with Redhurst Cottage. This offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The ideal place for alfresco dining, BBQ’s or enjoying a glass of Prosecco whilst watching the sun set.

Amenities
Pippenwell is located on the edge of Chelmorton village and is a short walk away from the fabulous village pub, The Church Inn, which is an ideal place to visit after exploring the Peak District.  This excellent establishment is full of character and was established in 1742, complete with open fires and flag stone floors, it won the CAMRA pub of the year for 2016 – so rest assured the quality of the food and drink are top notch.

There are plenty of other local farm shops and independent cafes/restaurants to visit nearby if you need anything.

Pets
Pippenwell accepts one well behaved pet because we understand that your pooches are part of the family.  If you want your dog to accompany you to the Peak District then there are lots of suitable walks and many pubs and cafes are dog friendly too.

Location
Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and idyllic farmland, the barn is located in a quiet and peaceful area but is still only a short drive to the nearest town.  Chatsworth House is a short drive away and boasts a fantastic art collection, lush gardens, with a fabulous art collection, a playground and farmyard which is ideal for children and adults alike.

Bakewell, Buxton and are pretty spa towns and are only a short drive away if you fancy some retail therapy.  For theme park lovers, Gulliver’s Kingdom is half an hour drive as well.
