Red Hurst is situated in the heart of the Peak District, on the edge of Chelmorton village. Nearby there is a wonderful village pub, The Church Inn, which is an excellent establishment, full of character and has recently won the CAMRA high peak pub of the year in 2016 – so rest assured the quality of the food and drink are second to none.
There are many local farm shops and independent cafes/restaurants to visit nearby if there is anything you need or the towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton are a short drive if you need a large supermarket.
Pets
Red Hurst welcomes all dogs as pooches are part of the family too. The Peak District is the perfect place to explore with your dogs although be mindful of any livestock and keep your dog under control at all times. Many local pubs and cafes are dog friendly as well.

Steeped in history and surrounded by breathtaking scenery and idyllic farmland, the holiday accommodation is only a short drive to Chatsworth House which is well worth a visit. The stately home has a fantastic art collection, lush gardens, a playground and farmyard which is ideal for children and adults alike.
Bakewell, Buxton and are pretty spa towns and are only a short drive away if you fancy some retail therapy. For theme park lovers, Gulliver’s Kingdom is half an hour drive as well.
